Blackkit walked by Smokekit and smacked her with his paw. He lifted his tail and walked towards Oakclaw.

Oakclaw narrowed his eyes and sighed, "you kits are going to have to move out of the nursery soon, Nightpool is expecting her litter!"

"Well, I'll be sure to tell Ashstar that you are ready to be apprentice's!" Oakclaw reasured them. He smiled and flicked Smokekit with his tail tip, "espacially you miss impatient!"

smokekit fluffed her tail out to the deputy, "i'm not that inpatient, i just dont want to be stuck being unappreciated in the nursery anymore" she whined to him realizing that blackkit, and spiritkit would be apprenticed before she would.

Oakclaw nodded, "of course you can" he replied simply. Than with quick flick of his tail, he turned and bounded away, it was nearly time to get the evening patrol set up!

smokekit was left alone her mind wandered and she was feeling a sudden chill as the wind blew her fuzzy pelt the wrong direction, so she padded into the nursery to be scolded by her mother for sneaking off.
