Mapleherb padded along looking for herbs at the clan border, her thick beautiful rusty brown coat gleaming in the pale morning sunlight. Her warm amber/green eyes glintede in the dappled light of the forest. Her sweet herby scent that had given her her name drifted, it came of living in the medicine cat den all your life. Mapleherb heard a faint rustling nearby, she spun round and saw a handsome dark brown tom with slightly matted fur.

Rat starred in awe at the she-cat, for a moment he was dazed. She had the most brillent amber eyes he had ever seen! Rat shook his head, what was he doing this was a clan cat! Than he growled at her, "What are you doing clan cat!" He snarled.

Mapleherb almost gasped, she had thought a rogue was handsome, A ROUGE!!!
"Um well this is lightclan territory, so i should ask you what you are doing here" mapleherb was not just a pretty face she had the tounge of a tiger.

Rat felt himself flush with embarresment, he had been so destracted by this she-cat's beauty, that he had said the first thing that came out of his mouth! Rat hissed, "Well I...um..." he stopped. "I'm hunting!" He growled trying to cover up his stupiedidy.

Mapleherb tried not to think about the toms handsomeness. She was a medicine cat and even if seh was not he was a rogue. She sensed his emabrrasment and smiled at it.

Rat sighed, this cat really didn't think he was scary. "Ok! So I crossed the boarder, so what!" He meowed shrugging his shoulders, "just don't tell anyone ok?" Rat pleaded.

Mapleherb looked thoughtfully at him, "Come" she said quietly and ventured deeper in to lightlcna territory. She stopped at a small clearing and eyed him up and down. He certainly was handsome, she lay a mosue she had caught earlier at his feet. She geussed food was scarce in the so called rogue 'clans'. She padded around him, noticing many battle scars. She had almost none due to the fact thay she almost never fought. Mapleherb had been taught to recognise different rogues, the whole clan had once, when she was a kit. Judging by his body shape and muscle he was a barn house rogue cat.
She could not help admiring his brown fur, his claer eyes. Her own thick brown/amber/rusty coloured fur had come from her mother. Yet her green/amber eyes had come from her father.

For a moment Rat eyed the prey with suspition, "what if it's a trap?" He thought to himself. He glanced at Mapleherb, but when he saw the softness in her eyes, he knew that it most likely wasn't. Greedly he tucked into the scrap of food, when he was done he sat up and licked his lips. It was than he noticed the She-cat eyeing him and padding around him like he was something bran new! Rat lifted his chin higher, "what? you never seen a rouge cat before?" He meowed boldly, hoping he was impressing her.

"No, unless you count a pineclan warrior who killed my parents who was a rogue before joing a clan" she replied coolly. She stopped infrot of him and thought, how could a rogue be so handsome

"Oh" Rat mewed sheepishly, but he couldn't help glanceing up at the she cat. "By the way" Rat meowd in barley more than a whisper, "whats your name?"

"Mapleherb, you?" she asked, her voice also dropping to a whisper. She glanced around and sniffed the air. She had used to think that rogues were cruel mean creatures who only cared for themselves but know...
She looked into his eyes and saw... a quen giving birth to kits and the leader lookign after her. Her mate runiong in to see the kits. A blind warrior being treated like any other cat

Rat couldn't help but grin, he starred dreamly into her eyes. His heart felt like it had skipped a beat, and for a moment he wasn't even sure if this was real! Suddenly he shook his head, "what am I doing?" He thought to himself, "this is a clan cat!"
Quickly he stood up, "um...I gotta go" he mewed shyly.
