Sunstar gazed down at her warriors, moving busily around inside camp. The dim dawn light was slowly filtering its way into the clearing, and the Morning Patrol was going to be called out soon. She jerked her head back as she felt something cool and wet drip down on her orange fur, only to relax as she saw the thick rain clouds dropping beads of water onto the waiting Earth below. About time, she thought, flicking her tail as the water began soaking into her well needing coat. It hasn't rained for such a long time, she padded forward, into her group of warriors as they still bumbled about, as though not knowing it was raining. She was searching for Darkpoppy, her deputy. She was going to lead the patrol herself today, to check out the Mistclan Border, because something didn't really seem quite right. She sensed a danger coming from them, although the last thing she wanted was a battle. Her green eyes gleamed as the sun shone through the rain clouds, which in turn resulted in a beautiful, but nearly hidden rainbow. "Does anyone want to go on the patrol?" She meowed. |

"can i go, though if you want to go yourself i could stay back and organise hunting patrols?2 Darkpopy offered from bellow the ledge. She padded out into the open, enjoying the true feeling on rain on her back. She looked up at her leader waiting for her reply.

Sunstar was pleased when Darkpoppy instantly volunteered. She needed someone who could help if something happened on the patrol, especially because of the sudden border tension between Breezeclan and Mistclan. She nodded. "It's fine... We can both go," she meowed in reply, glancing around the other cats. They didn't seem to have heard her. No problem. She could just order a few to come... |

Darkpoppy grinned at her leader and headed towards her. "You look worried" she commented, she could often tell there was something up with her leader. "Where are we going2 she asked politly, hoping Sunstar had not been offened by her comment.

Sunstar flicked her whiskers and lashed her tail with stress. "Something's been going on with Mistclan. They have been getting closer and closer into our borders for a few days, and I think they're planning some sort of invasion or something," she meowed with a sigh. She was constantly finding suspicion in other things, even if it didn't mean anything. Still, she thought it was worth taking a look at... |
