Frozenstar nad mapleherb padded into the camp, looking around at all of the cats.

Tawnystorm rose to great Frozenstar and Mapleherb.
"Hi!" She meowed, dipping her head to Frozenstar was deep respect. "Congratulations!" She looked around at the other cats. They were either grieving for Lilystar and Gingerpelt, or were still sleeping. Dawncloud was still crouched near the Medicine Den, staring sightlessly at the ground. Tawyclaw sighed. Dawncloud still blamed herself for what had happened.

Frozenstar looked at dawncloud and sighed. "Thankyou" hse said, "I need help" she padded up to dawncloud and said "Look if you are the deputey then you need to get a grip on yourself" frozenstar said fiercely.

Dawncloud looked up, Frozenstar's words snapping her back into the living world.
"What? Y-yes," she stammered. "I'll do my best to help you." Even as she said the words she could hear how hollow they were, an exact image of what she felt inside. "I'm going to gather a patrol to get them to patrol the border and watch out for more rogues," she turned and padded away, head down, and tail dragging in the dust.

"Come back" frozenstar looked at her deputey. "Listen i am not trying to be horrible but i know you are sad, everyone is but you have to get over it, if you continue liek this i will have to apont a new deputey. i need a strong deputey, not one who will greive for ever becasue they did not save someone, things happen." frozenstar finished her vioce less sharp but fierce

Dawncloud trailed back over to her new leader. She listened to her words, and then straightened up. Frozenstar was right.
"I'm sorry, Frozenstar. I shouldn't have behaved like I did. I promise to be the best deputy I can be, and I will fight for my clan no matter what," raising her eyes to meet Frozenstar's she added more quietly with less confidence, "It's just Lilystar and I were very good friends. You know she saved my life once, don't you? I never returned the favor, and she is dead."

"I understand, but know she watches over you from starclan, know we need to find out why that rogue killed them." frozenstar smiled warmly at dawncloud and flicked her tail along her flank.

Dawncloud curled her lips back into a wry snarl.
"I don't know why, but if I see her again I'll flay her!" She whipped around the glare at some of the warriors with challenge in her eyes. "Willow is mine, and don't any of you forget it!" She turned back to Frozenstar. "I promise that I won't take time from my normal duties to find her, but if she ever comes back, I swear by Starclan she will be killed."

Dawncloud sat back down, noticing the taken aback looks some of the warriors she had glared at just gave her. Turning back to Frozenstar she meowed, "Is there anything you would like me to do?"

Down wind of the two siting in a tree sat the blind rouge tom named Brightfire.
He listen qeuitly taking in the new information.
"I see, fair thee well LiltyStar of the Lightclan. My you look after your clan from the stars."
He mewed queitly as a lone tear fell from the tom's useless eye.
Brightfire sighed and took in the sent of the new leader of the Lightclan.
So he would know it later

No, mourn tonight" frozenstar muttered, her eyes sad as she looked at the two bodies of her former leader and deputey. She glanced round, sure hse had seen something in the near by tree, but she dismissed it as the wind.

Dawncloud looked up at her leader. "What are we going to do with the bodies?" She meowed, her voice quiet. She looked around. Her eyes rested on the bodies of her beloved leader and deputy, and her friends. She wished to share her last words with them, but she forced herself to wait for Frozenstar to finish speaking.

"tomorrow we will bury them" frozenstar replied then padded over to the bodies. She bent over and began to groom there fur muttering words into there fur.

Dawncloud nodded, then she padded over to her leader and deputies side. She looked down at them, her eyes clouded with grief and loss. First she crouched down by Lilystar. Pushing her nose into the young she-cats fur she murmured, "I'm sorry. I will avenge your death,"
