Blizzard!

needleclaw stirred he saw eagleflight and leafpaw next to him but he couldn't move, his whole body hurt, then he slipped back into unconcienceness

Winterpaw sighed when Needleclaw brought in Leafpaw, "Oh no, not Leafpaw too!" He yowled before running over to the apprectices aid. Her eyes were frozen shut and she had a large chunk of ice sticking out of her leg. Quickly he lad her down on a moss nest, careful not to move her back leg which was already crusted with frozen blood. Leafpaw tried to speak but Winterpaw placed his tail over her mouth, "ssshh, quiet now, just rest" he soathed the half unconscious apprentice. He knew he had to get the ice chunk out of her leg, and all three cats needed to be warmed and fast!

needleclaw thought he had broken a leg it hurt so bad he had a bad cold from being in the storm so long and he had a scratch from when the wind blew him into a tree. his mustles hurt so bad just a small movement made him yowl with pain.

Eagleflight groaned, she blinked open her eyes and saw that she was in the medicine cats den. She tried to move but her mucsles were soar and she was still freezing cold. Eagleflight opend her mouth to try and meow, but nothing came out but a few weak cough's.

Winterpaw licked at Needleclaw franticley, rubbing his fur the wrong way so he warmed up. Than he looked at his leg, it was broken and he knew he would have to warm the warrior up before he tryed to fix it. "Hawkclaw!" He yowled, "I need you!"

Leafpaw could hear the groans and coughs of her clan mates in the Medicine Den. She could not see the, obviously, but she could tell they were in pain. She could hardly remember what happened, but she remembered running through a blizzard, trying to save her mentor, falling, blood dripping from the head, then nothing. Eagleflight! The fear for her mentor overpowered her cold and pain, and she shifted, trying to move.

The effort was to much for her, so she stopped. After a moment's pause she meowed so weakly she doubted any cat could hear her quiet, painful mew, "Eagleflight?" Her voice rasped as though she could hardly use it. She doubted she could after the pain that ripped through it.

Winterpaw rushed over to Leafpaw, he would have to take care of all three cats by himself since Hawkclaw was still sick with green cough. By now Leafpaw was groaning, Winterpaw licked her fur the wrong way to warm her up, the same way he had done with Needleclaw and Eagleflight. When he was sure he had warmed her up a bit, he turned to look at the ice sticking out of her leg. Winterpaw knew if he was going to get it out, he better do now when she wouldn't feel the pain as much. Even though he wasn't shure she could hear him, Winterpaw looked at Leafpaw anyway, "Leafpaw, this is really going to hurt and I'm sorry!" He meowed. Than he took a hold of the ice chunk in his teeth, and yanked as hard as he could. Luckly the ice slid right out, but the pain was shure!

Leafpaw felt the pain all right, and despite how weak she felt, she let out a muffled yowl of agony. She felt her body jerk, and tears, unable to slide from her frozen lids, burned against her eyes. She let out another small wail, struggling to calm herself and try to control the pain but it was no use. She choked down sobs, her sides heaving with the struggle.

Winterpaw stood at Leafpaws side, "its ok, its out now. You did great!" He soathed. Than he began placeing cobwebs on the gaping wound. Imeditedtly blood soaked the cobwebs and Winterpaw pressed down harder, trying to stop it.

"Sorry Winterpaw i went to check on the kits" Hawkclaw mewed outside of the medicne cat's den" She heard the coughs of cats in pain she rushed into the den "What happend to them" she asked Winterpaw

Winterpaw turned around to face her, "They all got caught out in the storm, and thats all I know!" Winterpaw said with a shrugg. Than a look of worry caught his eye, "but Needleclaw has a broken leg, and Leafpaw's leg had this chunk of ice in it, not to menchin Eagleflights haveing trouble breathing!"

"Okay" Hawkclaw mewed "I'll take Leafpaw and Needleclaw, you see if you can do anything for Eagleflight"

Winterpaw nodded and padded over to Eagleflight's side, the she-cat was barley breathing and her eyes were shut tight. Winterpaw hurried over to the herb supply's and gathered up a mouthful of coltsfoot and feverfew, Than he carefully carried it over to Eagleflight. Gently, he pushed some of the leaves into her mouth. At first she didn't swallow and Winterpaw had to stroke her throat a of couple times before the warrior gulped it down. Than Winterpaw began checking her for injury's, he gave a sigh of relief when he didn't find any. When he was done he lay down by her side to warm her up. He began to panick when he didn't see the steady rise and fall of the warriors side, but when he looked close enough he could see it but very faintly. Winterpaw sighed and moved closer to her freezeing body, there was nothing he could do now but wait.

needleclaw let out a moan and opened his eyes he thought he went to join starclan but then he saw hawkclaw. he looked around he was in the medicine den, and leafpaw and eagleflight were laying next to him. when he saw the soaked cobwebs he asked "what happened?"

Leafpaw heard the sounds of her clan mates meowing above her. She tried to move, but stopped with a small whimper of pain. Her chest and muscles all hurt, and she couldn't raise her head. She could hear Hawkclaw, Winterpaw, and Needleclaw. She felt relief that Needleclaw was okay, but she didn't know about Eagleflight.

"Eagleflight?" Leafpaw tried again weekly, but this time she was sure her voice may be heard.
