Darkpaw Charged through the woods were he last saw the badger "It was right over here" he yowled, and sure enough when he ran around that corner there was a huge badger.

Oakclaw flicked his tail in a signle for the mistclan warriors to stop. "Ok everyone get down, if we can sneak up on it we'll be at an advantage!" He whispered as he crouched and begain to crawl quitley through the undergrowth. Oakclaws narrowed eyes never left the badger, he waited untill he and the other mistclan warriors were faceing its back, the badger was digging in the soil, it looked to destracted to know they were there. Suddenly Oakclaw leaped out of the bush's, "attack!" He yowled. Than he lanched himself onto the badgers back, digging his long claws into is flesh.

Brackenpelt jumped onto the Badgers back an raked his claws down the badgers back.

Eagleflight snarled with rage, she stood on her hindpaws and slashed at the badgers muzzle. The badger howled in pain and shook its head madley trying to shake Oakclaw and Brackenpelt off its back. While the two toms distracted the badger, Eagleflight slipped under its belly and raked her claws down its stomach. Suddenly the badger reared up on its hind legs...

Brackenpelt saw the badger rear up and jump down of it's back "Eagleflight move" he yowled. Brackenpelt leaped up and ripped a claw across the badgers muzzle.

The badger lumberd around madly, Oakclaw gasped in shock as one of its huge claws caught him under the chin and he was sent flying across the clearing. He landed with a sickening thud and the air rushed out of him.

Brackenfur yowled to Darkpaw "Darkpaw go get Hawkclaw Oakclaw is going to need her!"
Darkpaw nodded and dashed off to find Hawkclaw.

turtlestripe bunched her mustles and leaped on the badger's shoulder and dug in her claws. the badger rolled and bound from the badger just a second before she would have been crushed. she streaked under the badgers back legsand scrached it's underbelly but not in time to miss the blow of her forpaw it ripped open her shoulder. she stumbeled over to a grassey area and lay down in unbelivible pain.

"Turtlestripe, Oakclaw!" Eagleflight yowled when she saw the injured warriors laying unmoveing on the ground. Fury rushed into Eagleflight and she snarled at the badger. Without thinking she lept onto the badgers face, her back claws scored its muzzel and she slashed madly at black and white fur. The badger roared in pain, blood stained it's beady eyes and Eagleflight could tell she had blinded it. "No one hurts Mistlclan cats!" she hissed. Suddenly the badger wipped around and stumbled back into the woods towards Pineclan territory dripping scarlet red blood everyware.

"yeah that's right, no one messes with Mist Clan cats!" Brackenfur yowled

"thank you for thke help i thought i was a gonner" turtlestrip replied to her clanmates with pain clouding her vision.

"You should go see Hawkclaw" Brackenpelt mewed in a worryed tone

"if i can walk there" turtlestripe said trying to stand up.

He jumped to her side and helped her back to camp

once they got to the camp turtlestripe was at hawkclaw's den for only a moment before she said "thank you brackenpelt" then she collapsed with blood still pouring from her shoulder
