Winterpaw scooped up the poppy plant in his jaws, "well I guess I better go put these away" he mewed. He nodded respectfully to Hawkclaw before padding into the medicine cat den to put away the herbs.

Winterpaw was putting away the herbs when he heard the yowl, quickly he bolted over to the nursery just in case Hawkclaw needed help. He skidded to a halt beside the nursery entrance and poked his head inside, "Hawkclaw whats wrong?" He meowed a little shaken.

smokekit was the answer to their question. "Spiritkit tackeled me then leopardkit bit my tail" smokekit protested with a wail. she looked at her tail and it was bleeding heavily and fur was missing from the spot which made her screech.
